About Helen

Butter & Love Bakery has a humble beginning, stemmed from a passion for baking cookies that are not only pretty, but taste amazingly good to the last crumb. Helen’s love and passion for cooking and baking evolved naturally from growing up in a home that was filled with homemade meals and goodies from her beloved Mom. As a mother of two herself and a long-time realtor, Helen decided to take a leap of faith and pursue her love for baking, offering an assortment of cookies and baked goods to families and friends. Within a short time, word got around, and orders came pouring in. Today, Butter & Love Bakery remains a small home-based operation serving local families and businesses in the KC Metro area.

Please fill out the form below if you would like to place an order or to inquire about my custom hand-decorated sugar cookies, prices, and my availability to fill your upcoming order.

All orders are available for PICK-UP ONLY from my Johnson County, KS location. Shipping not yet available.

The custom sugar cookies are soft and buttery with a hint of vanilla, are generally 2.5 to 4 inches in diameter and individually packed for freshness. A minimum of two weeks’ notice is required for all custom sugar cookie orders. Price starts at $45/dozen, depending on the complexity of designs and colors. Each dozen custom sugar cookie order will include a minimum of three cookie designs of your choice and up to three colors.

Butter & Love Bakery also offer other cookies, cakes and baked goods, which require a 3-4 days’ notice for an order.

Prepayment on Venmo or Paypal is required to confirm your order.
